GoDaddy Canada donates $60,000 to MLSE Foundation in support of youth engagement
GoDaddy Canada announced today a donation of $60,000 to MLSE Foundation with the funds being used to improve the lives of youth through sport and recreation. The donation comes from proceeds generated through ‘A Raptor Tale’ and ‘Book Deal’ marketing campaigns, which ran during the 2019-2020 NBA season featuring Toronto Raptors alumnus Muggsy Bogues.
“We are incredibly grateful for GoDaddy Canada’s ongoing commitment to MLSE Foundation,” said Tanya Mruck, Executive Director, MLSE Foundation and MLSE LaunchPad. “During these challenging times, our primary goal to improve the lives of youth remains the same. We are committed to finding innovative solutions to help youth reach their potential and we are so proud to have GoDaddy Canada’s support.”
Young Lee, Marketing Director of GoDaddy Canada, presented the cheque to Tanya Mruck, Executive Director of MLSE Foundation and MLSE LaunchPad, at the Sport For Development facility this afternoon. The donation will support MLSE Foundation’s mission to improve the lives of youth by building facilities, giving to sustainable programs and empowering youth through sport and recreation.
“We are honoured to present MLSE Foundation with a donation to help support youth in sports and empower them to pursue their dreams,” said Anne De Aragon, Vice President and Country Manager, GoDaddy Canada.
"For them, House of Hockey also became the House of Dreams."
